New years resolution SUCESS?!

Hey there people!

So at the start of the year you may have noticed i didint blog about my new years resolutions. Well heres why...

So whenever i tell some one i will do something that involves will power i will always most likely either quit or drag my self through until im done. I always feel like when i tell someone that automatically gives them room to judge if i fail and dont succeed. So my plan this year was not to tell anyone there for saving my self all that heart ache and misery when i tell them i accidentally ate chocolate or didnt move for 3 weeks off my computer. I also made resolutions i felt could change my life for the better but were not things like : Run 5 miles each day before breakfast and bed time. Give up cookies and cream kit cats and keep my room tidy. Actually that last one was a resolution that i just so happened to attack with a rubber on my THINGS TO DO THIS YEAR list i had made myself.

So what is the point of this post you may ask? Well my little bloglets i have stuck to the rest of my new years reselutions*congrats to me for having some willpower* and those things were:

Drink more water
Try not to use heat on my hair unless totally necessary ie: blowdrying my fringe so it doesnt look like golom took a holiday on my face.
Don't use my computer for unnecessary tumblr scrolling and pinning on pintrest-excluding youtube watching

And i honestly think i have done exceptionally well considering drinking any form of liquid is the bain of my life and my computer is my life.

I have noticed vast improvement in my sociability and my skin looks more radiant and less like a blank canvas that had been painted an even more flat shade of grey.
I was super proud of my self for getting it up to 6 glasses of water in a day so horrar for me.

My question for you si - have you stuck to your new years resolutions and what were they?

Sherlock feels!

Hey there! So this post is not going to be beauty related oops and it is the first of the year again oops. Well first off HAPPY NEW YEAR did we all have a good one i hope you did and i hope you have all kept with the resolutions so far. This post isnt going to be about the new year because there is something far more important i need to discuss. Sherlock. Now you may think someone who is so keen on beauty and fashion and shiz cannot like something so stereotypy geeky/nerdy but let me tell you im a huge nerd at heart. i freaking love Sherlock and doctor who and merlin and all that jazz so yes i BREAK THE SYSTEM WOOP

fave Sherlock quotes

"i dont shave for sherlock"-John Watson
"im not a psychopath im a highly functioning socio-path" - Sherlock Holmes
"im in shock look i have a blanket"- Sherlock Holmes
" i was in the army i killed people... i had bad days" John Watson

So i love Sherlock because it makes me think makes me feel clever when i figure out the answer before him makes me feel stupid when i miss something so obvious so in your face simple that it is hard. ASDFGHJKL ALL THE FEELS

Evening routine.

Hey there! So i am a teen and for a teen i am very hight maintenance when it comes to my appearance and by that i mean i use it as a excuse not to do my homework and waste time making sure my moistirizer is 100% buffed into my skin before i move onto even looking at the american west. I dont use lots of expensive products on my skin ... yet. Which means i look out for bargains in superdrug and boots. First in the evening i will shower. The shower gel i have been loving and just got a new one of for xmas is the extracts coconut and shea butter shower gel. Hands down my fave product to use on my skin. It smells amazing and i love using this at night as it relaxed me and makes me calm which is a bonus in my eyes and it mells like coconuts so i already love it. This leaves my skin feeling amazing and you can get this from tesco BARGIN. I dont wash my hair at night as it is then a pain to dry and straighten which then makes me feel all jittery instead i take this time to shave and do other things like ex-foliate with the extracts exfoliator in nectarine and mandarin and wash my face with the no7 hot cloth cleanser. This cleanser is amazing for removing all makeup and making your skin feel clean as a whistle. For my this is a luxury as i spent £17 on this but i think is is defiantly worth it.
I then proceed to get out of the shower feeling amazing and will dry my self off. What a coincidenc i lost the photo of me doing this. (PSSST i didnt photograph my self naked drying my body after getting out of the shower). i have also been loving this body butter i brought from tesco which smells amazing leaves my skin feeling amazing and it costs little to nothing. It sinks into the skin nice and quickly which means i can go onto putting on my onesie to then look like a zebra dont we all do this at night when we should be doing work?

next is the moistiruzation for the face i use the boot traditional moisturizer at night because i get dryer skin at night and need a richer moisturizer. This is great for dry skin as it is nice and thick and does a great job at keeping your skin smooth.
Now all of the beauty is out of the way it is time for HOT CHOCOLATE AND TABLET TIME before i decide my bags will go away if i get more that 2 hours sleep.

So that is what i get up to in the evenings i think my time goes into quite productive things that ensure a healthy complexion that defiantly makes up for failing at biology right?

Thanks for ready make sure to follow

I think i'm addicted!

Well well well. I feel like I should write about this purely because it is beauty related and it is costing me a FORTUNE. I am becoming addicted to ... MAKE-UP BRUSHES. I know shock.

It all started when i got the Real Techniques starter set for Christmas. And yes i know you cant get addicted to something in 4 days, but isnt this where addiction stems from? I then went on to buying the core collection and the blush brush with a voucher i got for Christmas also. Now i want all the make-up brushes not just by real techniques but by other brands like sigma an mac elf and smash box. I want all of the brushes.

Now here is my dilemma. I am currently re-decorating my room and am spending all of my money on that. So how do i satisfy my craving for make-up brushes? Steal them ... NO Chloe stop with the thief thoughts! There is just something about make-up brushes that makes me happy. I will one day have the ultimate brush collection but until then i can only lust over a new mac 107 or a sigma f80.

What makes it worse is i am starting this blog. So I need to buy new brushes just so i can review...right?

Where is my logic? if you find it please return it to your closet boots store and i will be there to pick it up momentarily. Keep it away from the brushes. Until next time!

Frosty favourites!

Hey there! So i thought the best way for you to get to know me and a good way to break the ice - winter joke, was to do a favourite makeup items of this month. So without rambling too much here are some of my winter picks.
This month has been the month of my venturing out of my comfort zone into the world of bright lip colours because lipstick is one of my favourite types of makeup so you can understand that nude lipsticks might not cut my addiction some of the time. The two i have been loving this month are the the L'Oreal colour riche in Scarlett crème (left) and the revlon lipbutter in candy apple(middle). As you can properly guess i started out by using the revlon lipbutter because it is alot kinder when it comes to colouring outside the lines. It is alot sheerer but you can defiantly build to get a really nice red lip. The L'Oreal one is more pigmented and stains the skin so i do makesure to take my time on that one.
lipbutter: £8 boots or superdrug
colour riche lipstick: £8.49

For my face i have been loving the L'oreal true match foundation(left) in ivory the rimmel stay matte powder(middle) in peach glow and the rimmle match perfection concealer in ivory for a flawless look.

foundation: £9.99 boots or superdrug
powder: £3.99 boots or superdrug
concealer: £4.99 boots or superdrug

my skin is quite good for a teenager so i dont usually like to add lots of product but these leave my skin feeling soft and covered with out feeling cakey. The concealer i use under my eyes to brighten them up.

For my skin i have been loving the soap and glory ritous butter. This product leaves my skin feeling soft and i love using it as a pick me up for when i am feeling down or tired. And it smells AMAZING. I got this in a set for my birthday and sadly it has all run out so i will be splashing out the £10.50 to buy the full size but the little pot did last me 2 months and i used it most days.

So these are some of my winter faves. I hope maybe you can find some use out of this and i wasnt pointless.
Make sure to follow because im just that great ;)
